just trying to charge my Lightning in an RV camp site when only a 30 Amp is available since my RV is using the 50 Amp outlet. Need an extension cord for the Lightning so thought I would use my RV extension cord with the dog bone Parkworld dog bone.
maybe you can confirm what you eventually found at this campground, but the outcome of trying to use a campground 120v 30amp outlet, with the pictured 120v 30amp to 240v 50amp adapter, will not work with the Ford Mobile EVSE: here's why:

A) The Ford Mobile Charger EVSE module has TWO 'built-in' adapter options: 4-prong 240v, and 3-prong 120v.
B) You must use one of these options with the EVSE, which will determine then what type of OUTLET you will plug it into.
C) If you use the smaller 120v adapter, you can plug that into any 'household' type outlet, or the campground's smaller 15/20amp outlet, which is, unfortunately, many times a GFCI outlet, and may not work with the EVSE.
D) if you use the larger 240v adapter, you can plug that into ONLY the 240v 50amp Campground outlet, as it will NOT work with the campground's other 120v 30amp outlet, EVEN if you use the pictured adapter. WHY?

The pictured adapter, going from a 3-prong to a 4-prong style plug, means that one of the 'hot' prongs is now not receiving any power. If that prong is the same prong that the Ford EVSE's 120v adapter's hot prong is looking for, it will not be powered, and therefore, not work.
This is probably why you received a charging error.

Also, even if you are able to receive power from a 120v 30amp outlet, the Ford EVSE is designed to only pass thru a maximum of 12amps at 120v... which is no more than you would receive with any other 'normal' household outlet.
You should, then, just use the Ford EVSE's 120v adapter, and a 'regular' outlet. Easy.
(there is also a small adapter from 120v 30amp to 120v 15/20amp, that would work, too, if you really have no other option other than the campground's 30amp outlet)

Or, you could plug your RV/Camper into the 240v outlet from the truck bed, with an adapter, and plug the truck's Ford EVSE 240v adapter into the campground's 50amp outlet. Easy.

It's likely the truck's ProPower, being used by the camper while the truck is being charged, will be PLENTY for all of the RV/Camper's needs, since it is providing up to 240v 30amps, which is much more than most any camper can ever use, even running TWO roof air conditioners on HIGH, while also doing everything else in the camper, such as microwaving, the fridge, fans, chargers, tvs, electric water heating, etc.

I've done this many times.
