I like to DIY things and today is the first day I've had an opportunity to put a heavy load in the bed. I couldn't be more impressed with the overall poise of the lightning with 1400lbs. So much power, handled the load better than any truck I've had previously and got 3.2mi/kw on the way home. Love it!

:) Mine pulls my 8500 pound Boat and trailer better than my Max Tow King Ranch did.

I don't doubt that. I bet it's no issue whatsoever. It is really amazing how this powertrain just makes things effortless.

Agree with ya,
an interesting thing the Lightning can do that No ICE truck can - I recently help move some concrete blocks for a buddy, and where we needed to drop these was up a steep slope in his side yard. I always drive in One-Pedal and when we backed up that steep incline, and watched in the 360 camera view for the exact spot to stop, I take my foot off the accelerator and boom the truck just stops and holds this position.
I didn't even think about it but by buddy is like "HEY" what did you do to make the truck do that ! It just stopped and stayed in one spot on this steep hill !! how did you make it do that without putting it in park? Why didn't it roll back down the hill ? Show me that again!
So I tell him it is the one-pedal-drive, don't need the brake at all. To show him the difference I drive back down the hill, and switch the setting to 'normal mode', and we drive like a regular ICE, back up the hill, hit the brake to hold in position and put it into park. Then back down the hill and repeat in one-pedal which is much better control and easier. He was just beside himself, couldn't believe the control up that steep hill in reverse with all the concrete blocks in the bed, stop on a dime and the truck just stays there without rolling.
