Hey all,

I just got an OBD II reader and linked it to Car Scanner. Started to see a few codes (see below) pop up and was wondering how to navigate them?

I think the order of my concern were the following codes:
  • DTC P2C85 Battery Voltage External Isolation Fault
  • DTC U0415 PCM and ABS Control Module Invalid Data
  • DTC C0604 and C0630 Active Air Dam Codes
  • DTC C1001 Rear Camera Fault
Any thoughts on how to proceed? Are these things I should be worried about and should I go to the dealer and have them look through each of these?

I currently don’t have any error notifications on my dash and so far my Lightning is running perfectly without issue.

They're all archived, are you having any issues?

Edit: I didn't read the last sentence.
You can clear them and see if they come back. Likely not issues.

Sometimes with software, "test not completed" or "test failed" simply means that the test was attempted or run before some precondition was established, maybe before a component was activated during start up.

Anything serious should trigger a user warning message.

Other posters have seen these same type of messages without any malfunction.

It is like if you look at the Windows operating system logs, you will see similar types of warnings or errors every time it boots up, but the PC will run just fine.

So unless something malfunctions, I'd generally ignore them.

Another possible source of errors and warning is if the 12v battery gets low, then various things will go off-line due to load shedding - and communications will shut down to those modules.

UPDATE:

BUT maybe someone versed in FORscan has some other ideas.

Did you look the codes up online as suggested?

"The message "test failed since last DTC clear" is a status indicator from your scan tool, meaning that while the fault is not currently present (it may be a "pending" or "continuous memory" code), it did occur during the last drive cycle after the codes were previously erased. The system ran its self-test and the U0415 error was detected."

"Low Battery Voltage: In some cases, low battery voltage can cause modules to behave erratically and generate communication codes like U0415."

My advice is to keep the 12v battery on a maintainer with an AGM mode when not using the truck.
