I didn’t notice the Snowplow option for the Lightning. I guess that mounting kit has to come from the dealer?

I don't believe there is a mounting kit for any F-150 and the snowplow option on the ICE basically adds a stronger alternator and some wiring while restricting the buyer to a naturally aspirated engine.

I am hopeful the the front frame of the Lightning is identical to the ICE versions so that existing mounts will work. Personally I am hoping to put a receiver hitch on the front so I can mount a winch when needed.

My research so far indicates that I may need to add another 12V battery or two to buffer the load that would be a wired to a 12VDC to 12VDC charger that uses less than the 80 or so auxiliary amps that should be available.

There are a couple of relevant treads on the topic here somewhere.

Yes, I believe that the 12v system isn’t structured for accessories. Though, it wouldn’t be hard to have a battery connected to a charger plugged into the outlet in the frunk. This way, its getting power direct from the outlet, but the battery acts as a buffer….. Now that I think about it, a capacitor might be better.
