For you… maybe.There's no need for fog lamps.
For me? I live in the coast range in Oregon. We sometimes get fog that reduces visibility to less than ten feet. That’s why I’m looking at SAE approved fogs.
As for the rear? Hoping it will help prevent rear ending when in areas where people drive too fast and too close in the fog. As an ex pat Brit, I’ve seen the difference
