I would use a seed heater or other thermostatically-controlled mat on the inside bottom of a box or old cooler. But I would power it from a small lithium power station that’s charged from the frunk outlet when the truck is on and runs the heater separately. This separates the truck’s batteries and electronics from the heater and so you have lower chance of damage to the truck if something goes wrong.

Just be careful with the portable power stations for a power source for a heater. Some of the power stations power completely down when they don't detect a load to save the battery. So if you use a heating pad that cycles, your power station may power off soon after you hit your temperature setpoint and the box won't turn itself back on.

You could use a power strip and plug in a small 7W night light in one of the receptacles that constantly draws enough of a load to keep the power station from cycling off. Then of course plug the self regulating heating source into another receptacle on the power strip that's plugged in to the power station.

Another option may be to use a separate battery and an inverter (12V to 120V AC) or a 12V battery and 12V heater that self regulates.

Good luck.
