Giving Oedro tonneau cover a shot (for older gen model), what's the worst that could happen?

Bought, on clearance, a tonneau from Oedro that is designed for the 2004-2014 series F150's. I looked up the specs as best I could and I think the primary difference is just a slightly wider bed by 1 inch. I don't really care if I can get the LED's on it to work, was more interested to see if I could score a hard tri-fold for $300. If it doesn't work, I suspect I should be able to sell it to someone else in my area with an appropriate truck.

I'm a complete novice to these, anyone have any thoughts on what I should look out for?

Well it arrived...and the verdict is?????

It fits! Mostly, as far as I can tell. I did a dry fit before using anything else for the install and it seems to be a good fit. The one place where it doesn't is over the top of the tail gate. There's about 1/4 - 1/2 inch gap there. There is a little weather stripping along that stretch although it doesn't come down from the cover as much as the other sides. Any ideas? There is an extra length of foam that has some adhesive on one side but I don't think that will hold well along the weather strip.

I placed it as centered as I could, there a TINY amount on the back corners that sticks out but it's not enough to bother me. The back panel overlaps the tail gate by about an inch and half, which seems sufficient, right? Here are some pics, this thing was on clearance from $800 down to $300. There are LED lights on the back that tie into the trailer harness, will be interesting to see what those look like with the rest of the tail lights.

Yeah, https://www.oedro.com/clearance-promotion, looks like they still have it listed. You have to put in the clearance code at checkout and it knocks the price in half. I'm pleased with it so far, it feels very solid. I think I recall reading it was rated for a couple hundred pounds of distributed weight. My son is about 50lbs and sat on it while folded up, didn't budge.
