I'm trying to find one of these bug shields to protect the front of my hood too, but I'm not seeing many options at all and the ones I do see have terrible Amazon reviews including the Aeroskin. Is this Ford version linked in this thread better?

Seems to me that stick on model won't do anything to keep bugs or anything from flying up and hitting the windshield, the ones that do stick up give the front end a different wind profile just for that purpose, being flush with the hood won't do anything except keep bugs off the front part of the hood.

That was the original intent for the bug shield, to make them fly up over the ws so as to not obscure your vision.
