Yep. Definitely in the setup. First start with a scenario and a typical one for comedians is I went on an airline flight somewhere and that is good for a few jokes.

My wife in the back joke comes from something I heard in the 70s during the CB radio craze. I was driving down the interstate one day and heard the usual "Hey good buddy, How's it look over your shoulder?". And a reply came back from someone: "It's pretty ugly back there, my wife is in the back seat!!" I just cracked up and I was single at the time.

My Lightning rides better than my wife's Lyriq.

I am not surprised. Mine certainly rides better than my 2024 Tesla did, and I recently rode in a friend's Tesla Model X (generally considered "luxurious") and the Ford rides substantially better (much less jiggle) that the X.

It is remarkable that the Ford handles as well as it does, while providing a very comfortable ride. Any DIY attempt at softening the ride, will almost certainly result in a degradation of emergency handling capability. Not long ago, a small car pulled out in front of me, requiring full braking and serious swerving, and the Ford handled it extremely well. In a lesser vehicle, I would have creamed the little car.
