I saw a YouTube video for conversions of Lightnings for use in Australia and the authorized upfitter appeared to be fitting a solar panel on the hood as a means of charging the HVB. Of course, when I want to find it in order to link it here, I can’t find it. Ugh!

Even four 425 watt panels aren’t going to do much to charge the Lightning. My 405 watt 36 panel system on its best day last year recorded 82 kWh in a day, which would all 56% to my ER assuming 10% charging losses.
