Thank you - does anyone know if Lucid super streamlined vehicles average 3.5+ in daily drives? I'm at 2.8 for 6k miles / '23 Lightning ER - mainly around town.
Around our rural area between towns, at say sub 40 mph, 3.0 + is very possible 70+ degree weather.

We are lucky we are only paying .064/kWh… I’d love it to be 50% less 😂!

On good solar days in the summer (like today) I collect enough kWh to power the house, my shop and charge the EV. If I pretend the solar set-up didn't cost 40k, maybe I could call that "free" EV charging ! lol.
Forcast: Cloudy tomorrow - darn it.

Seriously? That's supply and delivery?

We're in opposite country. Our gas is only $2.90 (vs your $4.50), and electric is at $0.34/kWh.
So driving EV is roughly 20% more expensive than ICE...
(And we only get about 2 mi/kWh average due to only getting 1.5 in winter)
You are so right about that. Power costs really make commuting a savings driver based on your observations… cheap power-expensive gas. To date, in 5 years we’ve netted about $20,000 savings over gas and that doesn’t include 5K ICE dealer maintenance and time loss on that.

The Mach E delivers the greatest savings and while I should be using it the SO loves it for compact town parking mobility, etc. I just roll the Edozer ‘Cause I’ve hit two animals last 5-6 years (Edge & Mach E) and a truck has that safety advantage.
