Lightning has a hum, does yours??

This is when on and in park or drive and is separate from the pedestrian noise.
All AC stuff is off.
It used to be totally quiet, I have heard it stop once in like 3 months now.
What could this be?
Is your lightning totally quiet?

Definitely not quiet/silent.
Fans running is quite obvious what it is, then there's the 20mph and under hum, but in addition to this there's pumps for circulating the coolant for the battery/heater core, but I can't hear that while driving, only when parked. (It's there, it's just that it's subtle so road noise overpowers it)

Mine with everything used to be totally quiet with AC off, I think this started after a update. Just wanted to be sure it's normal?

You’re not going crazy. I’ve noticed this too. Mine sometimes has a low level hum that wasn’t there before. It’s subtle, but it’s there.

Yes. Sometimes when driving. Same gum happens sometimes while charging. Never heard that gum on any of our other EVs.

You guys all have Platinums, right? If your profile doesn't load for whatever reason it uses the default profile which has Propulsion Sound on. You can return to your profile easily by pressing the seat memory button associated with your profile or turning Propulsion Sound off in Settings.
