Without any mods to the suspension, shocks, coils, or fender trims (factory stock) - what is the maximum size tires that can be put on an 18" or 20" wheels ?

I'd love 33" or 35" tires on my stock F150L.

Pretty sure the stock tires are 33" from what we have seen.

The 20s and 22s come with 33s. The 18s come with 32s.

If I change to 35" tires, will it fit on the stock 20" rims ?

I am no expert in tires, but I have been doing a lot of research lately. It is possible to put larger tires on the 20"s wheels. Regarding what fits: I have seen a video with 34" tires but they added a 2" leveling kit.

This can be the start of a great thread. We can share what sizes members have successfully run either at stock height or with a lift.

My plan is to do a 2" lift with a 20x9.5 et15 wrapped in 285/65/20. I haven't seen it done yet, but I'm hoping it will work as it will have a better LRR than the traditional 295/60 or 305/55, and also be a touch taller (34.6" diameter). I'll definitely share my results once/if the truck arrives! lol

So has anybody figured out what the biggest tire that can fit under the truck without rubbing/cutting? My stock Lariat comes with 275/60R20's.

I've seen where Town & Country Ford put on some 295/60 R20s, but that involved a 2" leveling kit. Tihor managed to get on some 285/65 R20s in another thread, but that also involved a lift after his shock change out didn't go as planned. So is stock as big as you can get without changing out the rims or adding a leveling kit?

I'm planning to change the rims anyway, but was hoping to avoid a lift or level to minimize range loss, as several peeps have commented it isn't so much the tire/wheel combo as changing the aerodynamics from stock that reduces the range. I might be able to put on a more aggressive looking AT tire with a new set of rims and be happy.

Right now I'm thinking:

It might be too "matchy" to my Antimatter blue paint, so we will need to see it in person. On the positive side, it apparently weighs 3 lbs. per rim less than stock Lariat wheels.

I guess I'm asking what the biggest tire anyone has put on that didn't involve a lift? Which just happens to be what the OP was asking...

Without a lift or leveling kit, the largest tire would be a 285/60R20. There are quite a few A/T options available in that size.

I have 305/45-22s mounted right now and there is no rubbing. Way better ride than the bouncy Lariat stock tires.

I sold my wheels to my Brother who has an antimatter blue, no lift, stock tire size

Sorry I know it's an old thread but you fit these without a lift or cutting?
