New Ford App in Carplay

go into maps on your phone and put in an address and it automatically puts it on your maps in android auto for navigation.

Nope, just those two pictures I sent no idea why they made that app it’s useless honestly there’s two buttons to call phone numbers that’s it and then that data about your tires and it’s not even up-to-date. Unless you open up the Ford Pass app on your phone and then refresh it. No idea what those software engineers are doing wasting their time on stupid stuff like this.

Man that is disappointing. Finding chargers is the only use case I could think of for doing this.

Maybe they’ll expand upon it but right now I think it’s the dumbest thing they’ve created

I mean, carplay apps are just the regular apps with support for carplay added, right? If you think of this as an extension of the existing ford app rather than a new app developed specifically for carplay, this makes sense.

Hopefully there will be new features added that are specifically designed around being used from the infotainment screen, but pulling existing features up to the big screen is surely low hanging fruit for them when first adding suport for carplay.

I cant understand why they would launch the carplay app without the find public charging function.
