Charging the charge (paying) seems to be the big issue in the CCS universe. I wish they'd at least offer a static QR Code on the dispenser that brings up ApplePay or its Android equivalent activation and payment where Plug & Pay isn't available.

There are Level 2 public stations using this method. It probably makes the equipment a lot cheaper. It would also be a method to eliminate the ridiculous app+identify charger+swipe+(account from app or credit card reader or NFC or false PLUG IN FIRST) methods of activation.

Someone else said it best-- "It shouldn't be this hard".

A new user shouldn't have to research online a tedious complex procedure on how to charge. It should be intuitive at best, at the very least the damn instructions provided on the charger should be the correct way to get it to work.

If we expect EV adoption to move along a pleasant and smooth charging process needs to become the norm. Nowadays its anything but that--not enough locations, crappy locations, broken chargers, broken software, sub standard charging speed, shitty instructions provided, crap tech support.
