Still showing the trailer recall on my Ford pass after the OTA.
I talked to the Ford app people when trying to see when updates after OTA’s get pushed through and the lady said that it goes through after the servicer completes the job in their system - then it processes in the app. It can sometimes take a few weeks or sometimes longer depending on when the tech gets the notes in and the service department signs off on it. Not sure how accurate that is, but I had a similar experience and it took I believe 3 weeks for the app to update

Does not apply to recalls afaik, those have to be connected to specialized equipment in order to be applied as it will also generate a code for the tech doing the work to retrieve as proof to Ford the recall was actually performed. Sort of a receipt for work completed. Can that be manipulated? I'm sure it's possible.

It is however unusual that no more than two days after the OTA my local dealer called me to set up an appointment for that exact recall to be performed and I hadn't even received the official letter from Ford about it yet. That came in the mail yesterday.
