Did your Pointguard dealer give you any concrete information or documentation on official support from Ford. I really would like to get this setup with my F150 lightning (and if possible use my existing solaredge inverters), but am afraid that Ford will pull the rug out from under me.
I think I heard in a video somewhere that Ford referred to this system (not in a negative way) and Sigenergy (Pointguard's parent company and what they are rebranding to) shows a V2X compatibility list on their site that lists the Lightning as compatible. That's as specific as I know.

The system will work great with your existing solaredge inverters. That is exactly my setup now.

While I have not seen anything written, there are multiple companies that specifically call out the Lightning. The recent Electrek video (linked in post 27) indicates they heard it from Ford directly. Enphase also advertised with a Lightning. While nothing is guaranteed, it does work perfectly well right now.

We all know that Ford OTA's don't work, so how are they going to prevent it anyway?
