have to change the tires on my truck ford said that you can tow up to 12700 lbs with this truck but when I tried to tow only 9500 lbs had a severe truck sway at 60 mph seems like the tires that ford puts on there pickup are to light only 3 ply tire ford inform me I was wrong has anyone had the same problem
The powerboost max payload is very low, around 1350 lbs. With a trailer that weight, sway bars and passengers you are defiantly overloading your truck

While I don't have the physical truck yet, putting my VIN in on Ford's Fleet website put my Lariat PB at a payload of 1590 lbs. I've seen some Powerboost trucks with higher payloads as well.

Even with a payload of 1590, a trailer of 9500 lbs with a hitch, 10% tongue weigh a few people and no gear in the bed you are over your payload.

Yeah, of you're looking to max out the trailer weight, the Powerboost is going to limit you. I believe you can get to ~1700# with the XLT if you're light on options. I think most Powerboost trucks are losing about 1-200lbs of payload compared to a 3.5 Ecoboost.

Do you know the model? It sounds like you had "toys" loaded in the rear which tipped it to where the tongue is light. Empty toy haulers have a much higher tongue percentage and should be less prone to sway, but that's a heavy one.... Triple axle?
I agree. The sway is very likely correlated to the way the trailer is loaded. Also triple check the hitch setup. Height, and bar adjustment.

I have a XLT 302a Powerboost with a 157" wheelbase and my payload sticker is 1610 lbs.

Assuming you are talking about a Powerboost hybrid? A limitation of the Powerboost seems to be payload capacity of 1830 lbs before options. Once you add all the heavy options on a loaded truck that number goes way down. Limited powerboost has payload of as low as 1100 lbs (verified by yellow sticker), for example. A 9500 lbs trailer probably has as much as 1200-1300 lbs hitch weight which counts against payload. If you have any passengers or gear in the bed you are over the payload limit which would cause towing stability issues no matter what tires you have. Therefore, the 12,700 towing capacity is not a realistic scenario in my opinion.
