Here is a simplified view (but may be inaccurate see * on diagram), and makes sense logically.

- Single AC grid input
- DC to AC output to both load and EVSE (would charge truck when enough solar. Wonder how the amperage is calculated and communicated, i.e. would it start at 30A charging, then drop down when my well pump comes on?)

The transfer switch capacity is 200A which raises a bunch of questions as well. Assuming it is connected to a 200A subpanel, how is that wired?

I am looking at the datasheet I linked to earlier for the Delta LF_V2X_10kW_V0.1_US product and wondering if that product actually exists and can be purchased by private parties. If it can, it looks like an alternative to the HIS which I might be able to have my own electrician install. And without all the PV integration, it may be cheaper. I can see why Sunrun wants an all in one box for new installs but I already have a solar array with its own inverter - a standalone V2G capable CCS charger is a much better fit for my needs.

And it comes with a separate CCS cable, which would let me install the FCSP or not, at my own option.

Kind of frustrating all these products max out at 10kW, given the size of the battery in the Lightning.

That product looked interesting, but I only see the value in cost for backup if it integrates with solar. Limiting the BDI to 10kw makes sense given that is typically a large solar install, but does not explain why the system you linked to would be limited to the same. Likely this is an expected continues battery output limit for most EVs?
