What the 2024 Flash doesn’t have autowipers! So I am looking to do this mod on my '24 flash. So all I need for the install is the harness and the sensor (plus forscan stuff)? My stock stalk will work just fine?

You'd think that would be standard on a 70k+ truck ?What the 2024 Flash doesn’t have autowipers!
Man it was standard on my XLT I don’t think it was discussed that Ford removed the auto wipers on all the threads of 23 XLT ER vs a FalshYou'd think that would be standard on a 70k+ truck ??

Apparently you get the extended range, bigger screen, B&O sound system, 360 cams, but no auto wipers. The bean counters said it was too much.Man it was standard on my XLT I don’t think it was discussed that Ford removed the auto wipers on all the threads of 23 XLT ER vs a Falsh
Yep after they took away the dual AC chargers also along with a few other thingsApparently you get the extended range, bigger screen, B&O sound system, 360 cams, but no auto wipers. The bean counters said it was too much.

Thanks for the prompt response! Adding to the list of to-do'sCorrect
Whats the downside to not making this change? Im about to do the install today. The 726-39-02 change in the BCM, AFAIK - is just to make the headlights turn on with the rain sensor. I left this change out when I set up mine.
that makes sense. Well, I’m pretty sure I had all the hardware place due to the packages that were added onto my truck with a 360 camera and the tow technology. So there’s no rain unfortunately right now so I’ll test that soon. I guess. But that makes sense. I went ahead and turned it on just because I was already in there.I dont think there is one. Its probably best to have this enabled as long as you know the rain sensing is working. When i first installed my sensor I didnt have the LIN bus or power on the harness, and it made fhe headlights come on all the time. Next time Im doing forscan stuff I’ll update mine.
Do you have any pictures? My '24 Flash, with a build date of 3/24 has three wires to the sensor plug - green, blue, and black - that all come from a larger plug. But I don't detect 12v at the plug and am trying to figure out why. Pictures are above. My truck already had ground on the connector to the rain sensor (probably because it's used for the other modules up there.)
Thanks. Can you link the video and to confirm you have auto wipers using the stalk from an oem 24 flash without the a on it and it works by placing the wipers in the first raindrop. And the sensitivity of the auto wipers increases where the intermittent intervals are?Correct
you ever figure this out or did you buy the harness?Do you have any pictures? You don't need a stalk on the 2024, just the harness and the sensor. The stock '24 Flash stalk works the exact same and is just missing the printed 'a', which adds no value to me. Correct, the sensitivity increases with the intervals on the original stalk.Thanks. So literally just like painting on the a.
Sorry but I don’t want to find out I needed the stalk ha.
did you try just the sensor first? or check for voltage? wondering if I can skip the harness. You don't need a stalk on the 2024, just the harness and the sensor.
