did you try just the sensor first? or check for voltage? wondering if I can skip the harness.
Already answered in my previous posts in this thread, but: yes/yes/no unless the ‘25 Flash is wired differently than my ‘24, which seems unlikely

Sorry for the late response - yes that's the kit. It's the same for the Lightning. But really all you need to do is get three wires up to that connector that plugs into the rain sensor. My truck already had ground on the connector to the rain sensor (probably because it's used for the other modules up there.) I ran the LIN bus wire from the sensor connector back to the steering column control module (That would be PIN 2 of the rain sensor to pin 3 of the steering column control module connector - see below.) I picked up accessory switched power from a project I was doing to add the rear heated seats, but I would think you'd be fine grabbing this from one of the 12V power outlets in the truck.

I am not totally sure where the premade harness gets 12V power from. The steering column control module connector I believe only has a constant power feed, so maybe their T harness is just keeping the rain sensor on all of the time. Doesn't make the most sense to me so I may have missed something there, or maybe it has very low draw or something. I wasn't sure so I hooked mine to the switched to be safe and there have been no issues.

Anyways I hope this helps.

hey this is great and I have the sensor for my truck. Since the harness plug/play is back ordered I wanted to ask a few questions as you seem to know whats up with power and LIN near here. I too have a ground (green) from the stock connector that it dual homed so likely grounded. I have the dead black 12V and the LIN blue wire that is currently homed but likely not end to end to pin 3 for the SCCM? My questions:

1. Is it possible that I can dual home the 12V to the factory connector going up to the headliner with the black 12V going to my dimming mirror and that would solve switched power?
2. Being this lazy, is there a pin match for pin 3 with a colored wire (what color from the SCCM end?) that I can home the LIN Blue to on the same connector?
3. Any tips on de-pinning etc on those green with red hold in connectors?
4. What awg light blue wire should I get to run a dedicated LIN if 1 is true but 2 is not?

Thanks for the help here.

For all who wish to add rain sense - works just fine on 2025 Flash, 3 reprogram steps, 1 OEM rain sensor (found chepaer online), and the harness only from infotainment. The factory stalk (no A) works fine, as does the sensor. Sprayed with water to test.

Is this the OEM rain sensor you ordered/installed?
