Have a 2022 XLT ER with cloth seats. Have debated upgrade. Have a good lead on 2025 black leather rear seats to just do a swap. Has anyone done it? Any pitfalls?

I’m curious about this same thing. For me its just the drivers seat in my Lariat. Maybe it’s just me but this is the most uncomfortable seat I’ve ever had in a vehicle. After 2+ years I’m wondering if I can “upgrade” to a platinum drivers seat off of eBay or something.

That's interesting b/c I have the same model and find mine to be one of the most comfortable ever. Unlike my wife's Buick Enclave, where the seat is very uncomfortable and the console/armrest hits about midway on my forearm.

I would love to have the platinum front seats from a F-250.

I’ve heard others say the same thing, so I guess it’s just body type and seat preference. But no matter what I try when repositioning the seat it still comes down to the seat feeling not wide enough, not enough cushion (maybe because I have the air cooled seats) and an inability to angle the seat bottom they way I’ve done in other vehicles. But a slightly wider cushier seat would go a long way. When I drive our Highlander (also air cooled seats) it’s so much more comfortable like leather sofa that’s been broken in.
