PSA! If you want one of these devices that supposedly works in the country this truck was actually built in, be sure to select the model made for North America. Above link drops directly on the EU version. That is to say "if it works at all over here".

The device operates on a cellular network, hence the difference, and who exactly pays for the cellular network connection?

In short, be prepared to buy an extra phone line in order to use this device.

Great note, you should buy the one for the country you are in, but I don't use the cell radio, never have. I use the trucks unlimited Wi-Fi.

Right from the USA AT&T Connected Car site:
"After 22GB, AT&T may temporarily slow data speeds if the network is busy."

Streaming music on a modest commute would blow post that 22GB pretty quickly. Should be plenty for a sketch app though.

I stream video every day, local news and YT, I have 150kmi on my 22 XLT, never once have I had buffering of video, not a single time.
