Tacoma to Santa Barbara ???

Anyone drive from Oregon coast to Santa Barbara using hwy’s 101 & 1?
I'm planning a trip and wondering about charger R&R (reliability & redundancy). Any tips would help, as I usually just go down I-5.

We’ve done Florence, Oregon to San Diego and found it very doable. We used aA Better Route Planner and had overnight stops with some J1772 overnight. We found much better than predicted range at the slow speeds and ups and downs of the coastal roads. We have a Lariat ER with a pop up camper on the back.

it’s the Monterey to San Luis Obisbo stretch that looks the most challenging. Roughly the same distance from Tacoma to PDX w/out any stations listed. Good to know the speed & terrain help. Thanks again.
