Tailgate opening while parked

Mine opens if I fiddle with the connector for the tailgate. They replaced my light at, but it took them a while because the tailgate wouldn't open... until it finally did. I will have check with them again if the problems persist. I wouldn't care if it no longer would power open/close, but without connectivity it is closed and locked with no manual release at the tailgate.

Yes. mine is getting worse. It won't open at all any more and I'm noticing other issues. And agreed, if it was manually able to open it wouldn't be an issue. That said, before it stopped working all together it would randomly open (and at times close) on its own. I'm certain I'm not the only one experiencing this.

Mine doing the same I had to disconnect it under the bummer and water came out of the connector blocks and is was green could this be the problem water come down from the light bar
