Howdy Lightning friends.
This past Saturday while running errands with the family we came back to the truck only for it not to start, and it displaying “Stop Safely Now” message on the dash.
After trying to restart and even walking away a few times it continued to show the same message.
Called Ford roadside assistance and a tow truck came and picked it up and dropped it off at the dealer.
Monday the dealer started to analyze the situation and sadly they and Ford Engineers have come to what they believe is the need to drop the battery pack and check for bad cells.
While I know there are others out here with Powertrain issues, I have received no warnings in the truck or on FordPass. Which feels different from what others have shared.
Looking for any thoughts on how long a repair like this will take, what to expect realistically and other insights.
