Our ‘21 MME has about 63K on it. In 5 years we’ve used the frunk…never. Well, I do open it once a year for washer fluid refills.

You are not paying for frunk access. It is $495 for the plastic tub. Otherwise, there is no plastic tub.

The amount of incorrect information about this rather simple feature delete across the interwebs is mindblowing.
The article doesn’t say you are paying for ‘access’ to a frunk. $500 for a plastic tub is nickel and diming and It’s a bad look. However, it is still superior to locking something being a subscription.

I am the OP and I never changed it. So…
You are correct, that was another thread on another board.

Post #9 asked how you can add washer fluid "if you don't pay for frunk access". That is what I responded to.
