It’s not fan art it’s based on the images Ford themselves supplied during their presentation, and I had to make a thumbnail out of something so I based it on that.

What part of “based on” was confusing? I took their images, including the ones from their windtunnels and sketches and combined them into one to make a thumbnail of a truck that doesn’t exist for which they did not provide an image yet. Why are you so emotional about this? Feel free to send me something you would like as a thumbnail next time I’ll put your face on it with your favorite hot wheels truck for all I care. It’s a simple video get over yourself scroll on my wayward son. It’s not that serious. It’s just sharing a topic that we’re all passionate about.

I noticed that too. They are really trying to cut costs on this EV

Maybe I paid more attention and read more news stories than other fans but I never had any expectations the Lightning would be part of the UEV platform. Ford reps were quoted several times that the pickup on this platform wasn't going to be a full size pickup and it wasn't going to be a conventional pickup as we know it.

Did anyone think it was going to be a Lightning replacement? Ford didn't cancel the Lightning once they announced the new platform, they cancelled it once there was an aluminum fire and needed to make cuts. I'm sure they also had some input with the Accounting folks to write off some investments for tax reasons.
