UPDATES NOT COMPLETING DUE TO BATTERY LEVEL

I've used the process twice on my 2023 Lariat about 1.5 years ago. Once when I started getting excessive drain messages, and once when the battery was replaced. It worked both times for me.

Well, I do wish it would work on my truck. Tried about 20 times in the past 2 days, carefully... the dealership did finally reset the BMS for free for me (I have a good dealer).

Weird. Never heard it didn't work.

It is important to fully charge the battery before doing it also.

Well, I do wish it would work on my truck. Tried about 20 times in the past 2 days, carefully... the dealership did finally reset the BMS for free for me (I have a good dealer).

I'm curious if the process will work now that the dealer "touched" it. It could be that something wasn't quite right between the modules, and the dealer reset corrected the situation. I'd be tempted to try it again after a nice long drive when I know the battery is fully charged.

I confirmed this morning that the BMS reset process still works on my 2023 Lariat ER. You never know exactly what is in the updates that get sent out and what they affect behind the scenes. I figured it wouldn't hurt to verify and confirm here.
