It is very handy if you want to get to know your truck better. But you need an OBD2 reader for the app to talk to.

You can customize your own pages with the sensors you are interested in. It records the info and you can get charts and graphs later.

These are two of the pages, I was looking at today, especially with the hot day we were having, I wanted to know how the temps in different areas were doing. The battery temp bar in the dash is useless. Mine stays in the middle for a wide range of Temps.

OBD2 reader is a hardware that connects to the truck. It is independent of your phone operating system. I can not recommend any since I have only used one. This is what I have and I have been very happy with it:

There are others with more capabilities but I still have not used all of this one.

That's handy. I have a hacker brain so this intrigues me.

OK. Now I'm still confused. In the iPhone App Store I find no title "Car Scanner Pro". Some have suggested the module for reading, but not the actual app. When using any of the suggested modules that you plug into the truck, do you use the app that comes with the module or do you go to the App Store to choose an app specific to to a `lightning?

Here’s the link. Once you install it go to Settings and choose “Ford Mustang Mach-E/F-150 Lightning/E-Transit” for the connection profile. The Pro features are an in-app purchase for about $6. I forget what extra features you get but it’s a good app so I want the developer to get something.

I "Bimmer coded" my i3 for larger gas tank and RE choices. I still have that device. I'll have to go hunting around.

I’d be sure to get a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) adapter, like the one in your link, to minimize battery drain.
