What are these CarScanner fields measuring?

Looking at the Temperatures page on CarScanner, two questions.
First, what is "Transmission" measuring?
Second, can anyone confirm my assumption about Min and Max HV battery temperatures. I assume there are multiple sensors and these two numbers are showing the range of temperatures for those sensors. Is that correct?

Transmission measures the transmission temperature. It is a single-speed gearbox attached to the motor that "transmits" the motor's rotational power to the drive shafts through a series of gears. It has a maintenance oil-change frequency of 240,000km (150k mi) and has a filter as well. We have two (one for each motor), so your screenshot is only showing 1 - probably the front.

I believe you are correct on the second point; however, others may have better insight on that.
