I have the Flash "light" that doesn't have the tailgate step. I got used to the tailgate step on my Powerboost so I installed the retractable one from Real truck. Considerably more expensive but it looks identicle so likely from the same Chineese factory. I've had it for a little over a year and find it even more useful than the tailgate step; not just because it can be used with the tailgate up but it's hands free both ways and the bed side nicely takes the place of the handle.
