Hey everyone — looking for help or confirmation from other Lightning owners.
I’ve been trying to set a 90% target charge for battery longevity at home using FordPass (or in vehicle settings, too), but for some reason, my home charger doesn’t show up as a selectable charge location anymore. Because of that, I can’t assign a target charge percentage — it always defaults to 100%.
I’ve had my Lightning for about 2.5 years now, and this feature used to work, but it stopped showing my home as a valid charge location sometime about 6 months ago (I didn’t note the exact time, but it’s been a while). Nothing’s changed with my setup.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
So far, @Ford Motor Company support hasn’t been helpful — just basic app troubleshooting and no escalation. Has anyone else run into this where FordPass no longer recognizes your home as a valid charge location, even after successful charging there?
Would love to hear if you’ve seen this — especially if you’ve found a workaround or got it resolved. Thanks in advance.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Home address is correctly saved in vehicle navigation
- I’ve charged at this home location many times (ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2)
- Tried unplugging/replugging during an active session
- Deleted and re-added my home address in both SYNC and FordPass
- Rebooted the vehicle and the charger
- Fully filled out address in ChargePoint app
- Logged out/in of FordPass
- Even tested backend behavior using developer tools to confirm it’s not user error
