I seem to catch a nail every 4 months. I take it to a local tire shop. They don't speak my language (english). They always jacked from the control arm and we never had a problem. Maybe 6 or 7 repairs in the last year and a half. That said, I use the jack point and searched far and wide for an electric jack that can raise it to the necessary height that I can carry in the truck since the factory supplied one bent and failed on the first use.

I had a blow out a few months back. I have the free Ford roadside so I contacted them through the app. They were there in less than 10 minutes. The dude seemed to know about the Lightnings. He used his jack and a stack of old paperback novels to get the Jack point. When I took the car to Discount Tire I watched them through the window turn my truck into a training opportunity for the staff. They couldn’t use the lift so they manually jacked up all 4 sides to replace all of the tires. Still makes me a bit nervous, but good on them for not just lifting it without consideration.
