What happened to HD Radio and how do I get it back?

My 2023 Platinum always had HD FM radio until a recent software update (I'm not sure which one). Now, no more HD radio. Has anyone else experienced this, and how do I get it back?

I've had a couple or 3 updates in the past weeks. HD radio is still there. I even swapped in a shorter antenna. No issue.

Um, stupid question looking for a smart answer. Is the HD only on the premium lines I have a XLT and have not seen were HD is available...

If you're looking for audio quality, CDs or ripping them yourself is way better than any streaming service. Unless Tidal is still around.

HD radio is tied to the premium B&O sound which is not available on XLT or PRO. Some people have swapped out the ACM (audio control module) in order to gain access to HD.

Pandora has excellent sound quality, you have to tick the box in settings for higher quality sound though, it's turned off by default. This is for paid subs, no idea if it's available on the free version.

No cd player on the system I have, I do have experience ripping mp3's. Sure do miss those days of dialing into Napster (56k) and waking up to a bunch of new tunes lol.

Haven't played with Pandora in a while. I wonder how good it is. YTMusic is usually what I use. It's fine especially if you're driving with road noise.

Not stupid at all. So HD radio is available on any trim that has the B&O option.

That little jewel is the ONLY thing Apple made that I actually liked.

In the early days of audio production on computers as well as education needs, I was a huge Apple and Mac fan/user. Ever since the iphone I have not. I remember the first iPhone I played with, my wife's, had a camera, but couldn't record video! Only stills.

Ah'hh the memories . . you could get some pretty different music that way. I learned of a couple of new bands I would have never heard of any other way...

I checked you ab data and it seems like HD radio is enabled in both the APIM and the ACM. I can also see you got an ACM update in June and two APIM updates (one in July and one in August). What I am not sure is if the data I am seeing online is accurate or not. If you have FORScan, check what you show here in the APIM:

Right now, you show an 8 there which seems correct.

Also, check what you show here in the ACM:

Right now, you show a 0 which means HDR is enabled. If both of those values match up, then I am stumped.
