Oh and the BC speed logic makes no sense. It knows the posted speed, yet it will let me set it at 80 when its 40-70, but set it at 81 no matter what and it deactivates...

And why spend the money on nice tires and get them aligned and balanced? Its cheaper to skip it and constantly move the steering wheel and avoid the warning.
All ADAS has a speed limit.. BC's happens to be 80mph. Autopilot was 90 for a time, then FSD turned it back to 80 for a bit, then 85..

It's a safety thing about how fast the car can compute / react to stuff.

If we're posting random wishes for software improvements, how about making the Parking Assist button do something useful? I get that parking assist doesn't exist in the later year trucks, but the button could be reprogrammed to open the camera screen. Having the 360 camera up is very useful for parking, so the button showing a parking symbol on it would still make sense.

Though, realistically, when they announced the end of production I pretty much gave up on any future software improvements unless it's something the ICE or EREV F150 gets that happens to port back to the lightning. That seems unlikely.

Thanks for that input. The limit of 80 is the second reason I dont buy it. I live and drive almost entirely in SFL, If you arent doing 82-85 you are stuck behind the tourist doing 68

The bottom line of what Brian should take to Ford from all of this is. 100k people bought and love this truck. We are not ordinary customers. We are the ones that take chances on new technologies, We are the ones that pay top dollar when dealers try to persuade to spend less on something else. We are the ones that are engaged and share our ideas on a forum. And most importantly, Because we are dumb enough to buy firsts, the general public comes to us and asks us about our trucks. We are the voice and true sales people that Ford requires to get where they need to be in order to survive. That positive endorsement can easily change to stay away at all costs.

I say all of this because the majority of us feel like suckers. That Ford will do the same old thing and stop spending money on us because we are cancelled old news. More specifically, not continue software development and fulfill promises (ie. pro power with truck off) or fix the numerous bugs and add some basic functionality that people have been asking for years that is littered all over the this thread. We all are watching how Ford handles this. In my opinion it would be an absolute shame and mistake to throw this large and highly coveted customer demographic to the curb. Again, we are 👀

I would like to see a software change so that if I change to Sport mode it stays in Sport mode even after the ignition is turned off just like it stays in One Pedal drive once I put it in there.

Also I have found during the winter using Slippery mode that I would run into alternating icy patches of the road at intersections or along tree lines, etc and dry stretches. It would automatically kick out of Slippery mode in a dry section and then not be available all of a sudden when I round a curve and hit an patch of ice at a reduced highway speed with it being too late and too distracting to reach over to change back to Slippery mode while trying not to slide in the ditch due to the ice. Guess it would be nice to get a warning question asking if I would like to stay in Slippery mode with Yes automatically in there just like when we leave the truck on while sitting and get to the 30 minute time period with no response meaning No.

I would also like to see all the suggested changes that get mentioned here just automatically show up in one of the nightly updates to the truck as long as it is telling us what the update is updating which it usually does.

100% this, well said. I've posted similar thoughts before. Brian, it's great that you are here, and I know you can't do much, but it does feel patronizing at times, since almost none of our complaints have even been acted upon. What good is it if you tell your superiors about what we think if they do nothing and nothing changes? Why should we keep filling in surveys that go nowhere in terms of action? (Although I do still fill out the damn survey, thinking this time might be different ...) This is my first Ford, and I absolutely love this truck, but man this is frustrating.

I don't feel like a sucker for buying this truck. I'm glad I bought it and I don't feel manipulated or fooled into doing so. It has many flaws and room for improvement, but I knew them going in. I don't understand this barrage of whining and complaints in a thread where the guy is trying to empower this forum and improve the truck.

If you want to consider this whining, so be it. We could either just trade it in or give feedback on how to improve. We all live our lives differently and what matters to you may be a deal breaker to others. I want Ford to succeed and I want to continue to see improvements in power options, but I also will be there to point out areas that need attention.

See, that's just it!
After all this time they HAVEN'T really improved this truck, at least not substantially. I personally am able to work with my truck . . that being said, there are quite a few folks (the whiners and complainers as you say) that are not getting any improvements or corrections to noted problems. I know "Brian not AI" is just the messenger, and I believe he does advise Ford of our concerns, but it seems like there is little willingness on Fords part to rectify these issues.

In my perfect world I would request a total overhaul of the native operating system. It honestly feels very dated and slow/sluggish to respond. I feel like if some time and effort was put in you could get it to feel more polished and modern looking. If it wasn't for Apple car play /Android Auto I feel like people would be losing their minds.
But.... since I'm not holding my breath on that one, I 'd ask you to (like others have stated) PLEASE give us a camp mode of sorts.

Thank you @Ford Motor Company
