Modded w/ level kit, new wheels, 33" Grappler tires

After getting a flat on a logging trail, I caved and started this project at Bul Auto. Level kit on the front, new rims (cheapest I could find on Amazon, so I can easily swap the factory wheels & ties back on) and I let Bul auto talk me into 33 inch grapplers.

picking it up and going into the woods to hunt today. We shall see if I’ve made a huge mistake or not.

Did you verify the weight rating of those wheels works with the lightning? It would suck to bend them while offroading.

According to the website (Amazon), these wheels are for the lightning.

Didn’t see any deer. But the truck did very well. Lost 50 miles of range however. Worth it.

looks good. I have noticed that these tail lights stick out a ton... just begging to take a shot from debris, rocks, mud. I hope the plastic holds up on them. Kind of wish they were more flush-mount style and not taking hits from snow, dirt, etc.

Very much still enjoying it. It's uber-cheap to operate, and super useful compared to my old ride, a minivan. Disappointed with the range though. To be fair, it's been colder lately. With those tires on it... total range is more like 130 miles instead of 200. (Sticker range on this battery was 230. I've yet to see that range play out). Going hunting this weekend, so I'll be away from any 240 volt charging, much less any DC fast charging. We'll see if I can get by with topping off using the 120v charger at camp.
