They're a lot more tolerable on 3-3.5x. Then again i watch everything at high speed. They just put out one yesterday and it was about 2:45. They're doing a race from northern Maine to the Florida keys but the video was just them getting everyone to Maine. The track they moved to is about 1.5hrs from me.

Too bad it was a sad ending. I wondered if your red Lightning ended up at Martin's Rebuilds since I have not seen many red ones out there. Haha! No, that's not mine over at Martin's. He's such an amazing guy. He had that unit - I think - long before my ill-fated trip.
As I discovered, the generator weight had little to no impact to my range, especially when it was tucked up at the front of the bed - and the fact that my speeds were lower. There's been a lot of tests done showing payload has far less impact on range than many think. Towing is the real range killer.
Even with all the drama of the accident, I added well over 100 miles of range to Thor's average than without it. By all accounts, that's incredibly useful.
But there's more solutions on the way - and Martin and Zachary have a LOT to do with it!

I’m a bit late to this but I had to delay receipt of our 2023 lariat by a week as the dealer in Pennsylvania could not legally release the truck to me with an open recall

i haven’t investigated the law but it fit as it was the defrost system recall and that system is a PA safety inspection requirement
