Hit an owl this morning -- damn thing just flew right into my path. Hit dead center and it seems only the Ford emblem on the front took the brunt of the damage. Front camera still works, but the emblem fell off. Fortunately the front didn't fall off and cause a maritime disaster.

Is it possible to replace just the Ford emblem on the front of the truck without having to replace the camera and/or other sensors? If so, what is the procedure for replacing it? Thanks in advance!

You do realize those birds are a protected species. I hope you stopped to render aid. 😊

My wife and I rescued a large red tail hawk some decades ago that had flown into the frame of a semi’s passenger mirror. The driver had pulled over put was afraid to touch it. We used a blanket to wrap him up and delivered him to avian rehabilitation group in the Charlotte NC area.

Turned out it lost an eye and had a broken wing, but it survived and stayed with the rescue group for the rest of its life.

It was dark (4am), on a rural road, with farm land on both sides of the road. I was traveling 55mph. No way I could find that bird after the strike.
