I used some extra silicone, this stuff, a couple drops on each end and in the middle. Didn't trust just the adhesive.

Loctite 908570 2.7 oz Tub Clear Silicone Waterproof Sealant, Single Tube https://a.co/d/iDFHx0Z
That is the same stuff I ordered.

Has anyone figured out how to activate the connector on trucks that do not have the tow technology package? I have the connector, but there is no 12v going through it.

Also, for those that have done this, can you show a pic or two of the location of the pigtails where we can access the lighting?

Has anyone figured this out yet for a '22 Lightning Pro without the Tow Package? Trying to install the F150Leds.com Running Board LED kit, but we can't seem to find the correct wire to tap into. I tried using the pigtail and hooking them up on the existing plug under the truck, but that seems inactive. So far in the harness in the kick panel we have tried the Grey with Violet stripe and Brown With Green stripe. When using either one of those wires the LED's just flash with the unlocking and locking of the doors. They are on for less than a second. Thanks for any input.

Hey guys. I ordered the Nilight kit. I have a Pro but I have the factory pigtail. I can't get the lights to work. After researching, my lights work but I found the plugs (both driver and passenger sides) only get about 10.5V. The lights won't work on 10.5V. I was attempting to find a dome light wire in the driver's kick panel. Along with the turn signal wires but I haven't been able to. Has anyone had any luck with a dome light wire and the turn signal wires?

Here is what I bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BSF4N2GH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Thanks! Is the violet and green in the driver kick panel?
You would have to check. The issue will be these from factory are driven by the Door modules.

The puddle light circuit. SO not sure if Ford would prewire that or not. The lighted Steps seem to be a fairly rare option. C316 ia actually under the hood.. or I should say in the frunk area.

511 and 611 are the door connectors.

Added a factory running board to my PRO which does not have zone lighting. Anyone know how to activate the light in forscan? it does not turn on at all on either side. thanks!
A late answer but I just joined. From the perspective of 2023 F150 Lightning Pro with running board light pigtails, with zone lighting (only front & rear), and without tow technology package. I do not believe that the truck has the capability to add running boards pigtails to zone lighting, as these appear to be mapped to the side mirror spotlights--perhaps someone who added lighted side mirrors can chime in. Regarding the running board light pigtails on the frame in front of the rear wheels, the relevant setting has little or nothing to do with the BCM, unless if your truck has the ability to activate welcome/approach lighting--mine does not. The relevant settings for the running board pigtails on this^ truck for lighting with door open & lock/unlock are within the DDM & PDM (driver & passenger door modules) Using easy mode, enable puddle lights, and then if necessary enable the spotlights too. This worked for me. I have not yet tailored time-out or other settings but it is very bright and works fine for me the way it is. For reference I installed APS aluminum running boards and Nilight running board lights stuck on the inside vertical lip of step, both products from Amazon. I hope this helps someone.

In case it helps, I added lighted side mirrors to my 2023 Pro w/o tow tech package. Here are the Forscan values I used to enable the spot light and puddle lamps:

I don't have lighted running boards but the factory pigtails are present. I just confirmed with a multimeter that when the truck is locked the pigtails get 0 VDC; when unlocked they get 12 VDC. That said, if you have the factory pigtails and make the forscan changes at the link above then you should be good to go.
