I am trying to buy a BlueCrusie subscription for my 2023 Lariat. But they want me to call them, or write them a letter. Why on earth can't they accept an email?

Please Ford, let me buy a BlueCrusie subscription, its not visible in my available subscriptions, but my truck got all the hardware.

Your truck is misconfigured. That is why Bluecruise does not appear in your connected services. You would need FORScan to fix a few things before it will work. There are config changes that need to be made to the IPC, APIM and IPMA (possibly more) before there is a chance for BC to start working.

Right now, your truck is configured for TJA (traffic jam assist). It needs to be recongifured for highway assist for BC to work.

According to the ab data I just pulled from Ford, none of it has been done. Do you see a Bruecruise map version on your "about sync" screen?

Thank you for looking into this. I have no map version of BC visible.

I did compare my vehicle to a us version of the same variant and updated highway assist, and a host of other connected settings in forscan.

I can upload the current files tomorrow.

Let me know when you have your truck back and we'll work on it. If you're not showing a BC map version, then the config changes to make the server recongize your truck is BC capable need to be made.

You were correct. I had TJA in the IPC 720-10-01 position 2. Changed from F to E.

I have not tested the BC 1.4 settings recently published, as my car is not up to date. But BC 1.0 or something should come from the factory?

The zip is fresh backups from the car. IPC, IPMA, APIM and GWM. If you point me in the right direction I will look up what values in there.

Make these changes:

Once you write these changes, check your about sync screen and you should see a BC maps version. If so, remove the truck from your Ford app and re-add it. This is done in hopes of getting the activation signal for BC sent to the truck. Road test it to see if BC works, but it may not work right away. It can take a few days or weeks.

In markets outside the US, it is difficult to get these things to work for whatever reason. I can tell you for sure that the changes above need to be made before BC will work, but I cannot guarantee it will fix the issue. There is no spreadsheet for the GWM, so I am not sure what needs to be done there, but for vehicles in the US market, no changes need to be made to the GWM to get BC to show up in your connected services.

IPC 720-11-01 is now updated to 4, was 5

The rest was already at the correct value. Still no BC map version on the Sync, but I googled it and the ones that have it do not have my "Hands free driving available through --", so maybe the version listing is for newer software?

Will let the car sit forsome hours before looking at it again. Make sure everything is rebooted.
