What model did you buy? pro, xlt, flash, lariat or platinum? and how long have you had it? Note that the extended range battery in a lightning platinum is estimated to be 20 miles less than the other models as the platinum weighs more.
as mentioned by @potato the guess-o-meter is the trucks...
Its normal to see limited power. it depends on your Battery SOC, exterior and battery temperatures. Here are several photos. The first 3 show the outside temperature in degrees c and the last one was taken in September when the outside temp was about 75 degrees f or 21 degrees c. I did notice...
I'm using the Grizzl-E Classic 40 Amp charger without wifi. It can be ordered with either a NEMA 6-50 plug in cable, or a NEMA 14-50 plug in cable and has a 3 year warranty. It works very well in cold and hot weather.
I'm in the great white north a.k.a. Canada. My truck is outside all the time. Last winter I got in the habit of plugging it in when the temperature drops below 20 f or -6 c. I also lowered the charge target to 60% if it's plugged in every night.
I have set a departure time so when I hop in...
I tend to get software updates while driving to or from work on Thursday afternoons. Which is strange as it is set up to check for updates at 9 pm each night. I guess It has a mind of its own and downloads whenever it wants to.
You may want to pack a 1/2" breaker bar, a 1/2" torque wrench, 2" x 1/2" extension and a 21 mm socket with you as well because the Lug nuts are torqued to 150 lb feet and are hard to remove with out a breaker bar. If you are running aftermarket wheels you may also need to take 6 oem lug nuts...
I have the same charger. It comes with a standard 3 year warrantee. You can order it with a 14-50 plug from amazon and then plug it into the 14-50R receptacle you are planning on using. The Grizzl-e charger will come set up to draw 40 amps, but you can select different amperage settings by...
There is a new post for a set Ford OEM rims with Michelin X-Ice tires by @mnastasiuk_flash that are located in Ontario that you might be interested in.
looks like this mirror glass is a little bit expensive. this is for a 2023 lightning lariat. i used a Las Vegas zip code of 89109. the part number is ML3Z17K707P, you will want to have your dealer double check the part number to insure it is the correct one for your truck.
My 23 Lightning Platinum costs less to insure than my 2011 GMC Sierra SLT even though it has additional full glass coverage and a limited depreciation waiver for the first 5 years. Im not exactly sure why the premiums are less but i do know that my insurance company offers discounts for EV's...
My sync version is the same as @mrau . Not sure why your later version of sync doesn't allow you to change the temperature. Are you using the iOS or Android version of the Ford pass app?
Your Ford dealer should have them in stock with the fasteners that they keep for their service department. I broke a few of these and my dealer replaced them at no cost when they replaced the low voltage battery voltage sensor. There pretty easy to break.
It looks like you can set the temperature in the Ford pass app version 5.2.0 once you remote start the climate system. Once the climate system is on press the temperature and you should be able to set the temp on the pop up screen. Attached are 2 screen shots from the Ford pass app.
I have a 23 platinum as well and drive about 50 kms per day (30 miles) to and from work. i go into the office 4 days per week.
i have a 100 amp panel as well and use either my FCSP set to 40 amps or a Grizzl-E 40 amp charger. both are set up to plug into a 6-50 r receptacle on a circuit with...
I have my ford charge station pro set to use 40 amps by setting the dial inside the unit. i have a 6-50 receptacle hard wired with 6 gauge copper wire to a 50 amp breaker in my electrical panel. I then plug the FCSP into the receptacle using a 3 foot 8/3 SOOW cable with a 6-50 plug on 1 end and...
I try to drive each of my ice vehicles once a week in the summer to keep the battery charged and tires round. In the winter I will put a battery maintainer on the them once every 2 weeks, and will use a fuel stabilizer. I have thought about selling the ice vehicles but I like my toys and they...
