Just bought a 2024 Flash, have app question

I recently went through a buyback with Ford on a 2023 XLT ER. I was able to find a 2024 Flash that I liked, though I do not like the 15" screen at all. Anyway, my question is: using Ford Pass on my 2023 XLT, after the recent update, I was able to change the temperature once I remote started the climate. However, on my 2024, the Ford Pass app does not give me that option to change temperature. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Here's a picture of the version of software installed. My 2024 was built in February 2024 and delivered to the dealer in June. What is the latest version of Sync 4a? Should I ask the dealer for an update?

Haven't seen any 2024 Sync versions yet. Your build is 306 day of the 2023 year. Hence 23306.

Mine is 291 day of 2023.

It looks like you can set the temperature in the Ford pass app version 5.2.0 once you remote start the climate system. Once the climate system is on press the temperature and you should be able to set the temp on the pop up screen. Attached are 2 screen shots from the Ford pass app.

That's the point, I don't see that setting in the app. The app is the same one as I used for my 2023, but the 2024 doesn't expose the temperature settings in the app.

My sync version is the same as @mrau . Not sure why your later version of sync doesn't allow you to change the temperature. Are you using the iOS or Android version of the Ford pass app?

Android. It's not the app, but something with the truck I suspect. Do you have the 12' screen or 15"? Is anyone with a 15" screen able to change temperature via the app?

Well my app isn't giving me a temperature option. I wonder if it's because I have two vehicles linked in Ford Pass, my 2023 and the new one?

Or maybe it's something to do with a setting somewhere in my truck?

Not due to number of vehicles, you have to pick one in app. And you should have done a factory reset in the 2023 before handing over the keys. Now delete it in app.

Yes, I have a Lariat-ER I have been able to adjust the temp & seat conditions since the start of 5.x.x
Though there have been a few instances of it NOT appearing, resolved with a force stop of the app and clearing of cache resolved the missing panel.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it didn't change anything. Still won't let me change temperature.
