Carmax and Carvana gave me terrible offers on my truck compared to dealers and KBB; strangely, Carmax gave us a great offer on my wife's Acadia a few months ago and we took it. I think their algorithms just don't really understand regional differences in truck market; people pay up for a good...
Any tips for where to post, how to market when selling a used truck? Every other vehicle I've either traded or sold so cheap it didn't really matter how I went about selling it.
My current truck is only 5 years old and in great shape. Dealer gave me a rough trade-in value for when my...
I didn't even know Katskins were a thing....that's going to be a must-have. My wife has been giving me grief for 5 years about not having heated seats on my XLT.
Could explain the "starting with Pros" comment from Ford at launch day. Fewer processors. fewer special components. My Pro build date is 5/30 (not that far away) and it'll be interesting to see how long that one sits around before shipping.
I think it depends on what you're comparing to. If you compare the Pro Lightning vs XLT Lightning, I think you're right, most people will eventually decide to bump up the trim level.
My decision to do a Pro instead of spending a bit more for the XLT SR was the price/value compared to an ICE...
truck should work fine for them. I run a 3hp planer and a 3hp dust collector on a single 30 amp circuit, have never tripped. Unless he’s giving you truly massive machine, you’ll be fine
I have a ton of woodworking tools that run on 240 but they’re all so damn heavy I can’t imagine I’ll ever use the truck to power them.
It should be able to run some small welders though. Hell, you could even use it to run a tiny house if you had a property you didn’t want to pay to run power to
even IF the claim was true, the whole point of the intelligent range system is to prevent winding up stranded without a charge. It seems like you’d actually have to try really hard to run out of charge prematurely based on all the stuff they put on these vehicles.
Also, I’m pretty sure my...
it’s a good look at the Pro. Lariat has already been reviewed to death.
it’s a fleet model pro FWIW. Only difference seems to be battery pack, no fleet specific options I saw on it
I’ve waffled on whether I should have ponied up for a lariat but I’m happy with Pro seeing this. I swear the spec sheet that’s been circulating said the pro was going to have a flip key, but this one has push to start (nice surprise to see)
So far, so good, hanging tight at 5/30. Delivery time will be helpful once more people ahead of us get theirs, I need to time out selling my current truck.
Now that we have OKTB and the folks out at SEMA have already let their members get measurements, when do you figure accessories are going to become available from Ford and third parties?
I'd like to get running boards on my Pro ASAP; my kids rely on them pretty heavily on my current F150. I...
Do you have a screenshot of the cancellation? If it truly was cancelled without your consent, I would think it could be easily addressed by Ford; but it doesn't seem like you're willing to even try that option? Every other post is trash talking the dealerships and talking up your Rivian...
