I haven't really found a good answer, and I know it's a complicated question, but maybe you all can help.
My ICE 2016 XLT 325 HP and 375 lbft of torque. My new SR Lightning will have like 452 and 775.
All else equal, an ICE and EV power train are going to lose efficiency while towing...
They have an online tool on your account too that shows usage by hour for the last year and calculates which plan is best. Right now it's same price between peak-based or flat rate, I assume that will change after I've had the lightning for 6 months and they see my bigger power usage over night
Hello from St. Charles! I went into my Ameren account and they said basically no difference between my rate whether I use peak or anytime rate. We will see how that changes after the lightning arrives.
Yeah I was being a little facetious about sending one out here, I'm all set on mine. Still a good deal for any PSEG customers.
I wish Ameren would get on board with some rebates. We get nothing back from them. I guess that's what happens when your power comes from the coal belt in southern...
Unfortunately I don't qualify all the way out here in Missouri, but I know we have a lot of NYC folks on the forum. If you didn't know this deal was available, now you do...
I think I am one of the very few getting stone gray. I think it’s going to look sharp on my Pro though, and I always feel like blues and reds look dated very quickly
I've got to figure this means no one is getting their delivery until at least May 10th, right? Why have a media embargo if you knew customers were going to have them sooner. Even those already gone through production may have some time to wait....
Wouldn't be hard to imagine an aluminum cab Ranger size truck with a battery pack somewhere between the Mach E and the ER Lightning could eek out some pretty good mileage
Yeah, not ideal, but 8 circuits would be enough to keep the heat, refrigerator, and a few lights running no problem. For a few hundred bucks (versus a few thousand) I am OK with that compromise.
I think TFL solved this in one of their videos though. You just need to set up the “generator” connection with a switchable neutral. Working with my electrician to understand how it works best. It has to be doable, or all GFCI generators would be incompatible with home backup
For perspective, my electrician quoted me $1,300 to run a 14-50 plug to my garage (opposite side of house from panel) and an additional 4-600 to install an Interlok kit to my existing panel. Theoretically, I should then be able to use the NEMA 14-30 outlet in the truck bed to attach to the...
I mean, half of this forum is basically people pulling stuff out of thin air....I don't think it's unreasonable to say that a system which allows dealers to prioritize reservations from repeat customers would get more trucks into the hands of actual loyal customers instead of flippers and...
The other thing no one has really talked about (I think) is that the dealer prioritization actually probably protected a lot of customer orders from being supplanted by "flippers."
How many of those first 3 days reservations do you think were people plopping down $100 for a chance to get an...
Honestly just assumed the pro was going to have rear defrosters, I've never owned a vehicle that hasn't. Really surprised to see now that it's not included on the truck. I find I turn mine on semi-frequently in the winter.
