I believe in my case, it has always functioned this way. Charge now goss to 100%, and has as long as I've had the truck (1 year). Just accepted that this was just the way it was and would set an alarm to remind me when to stop it.

One good drive on a dirt road will do that. Ask me how I know. That's just dust. No worries.

Some believe Ford has tweaked the charging curve since introducing the truck, but doesn't not change the official specs. Seems reasonable to not change the official specs so as to reduce the number of complaints.

I personally don't trust CR anymore. I have seen top much obviously cherry picked data, or skewed article in search of a predetermined conclusion. JMHO

Just to be completely clear, my post was about Android Auto new functionality with the Lightning, and not the Ford Nav. Also to be clear, AA starts automatically when I turn the truck on. On the occasions where it fails to connect by Bluetooth, I just plug my Android phone in if I want to use it.

I used it in the last week, and it worked. Also have several instances of navigation with AA and the estimated SOC have been close and a bit conservative. Meaning estimated 48% SOC on arrival of a 100ile drive, and actual SOC arrival 50%. I'm good with it being conservative. So far IMHO AA...
