I bought the same one which is what started this whole thing. I didn't realize there is a motorized version that doesn't continue scrolling once you reach the end of the "Gears". The motorization is just a "cool to have". The prices (and availability) are just all over the place and wanted to...
I’m compiling a verified list of Ford rotary shifter part numbers.
The current working theory is that part numbers starting with LX6P or LX6Z typically refer to motorized rotary shifters. These are commonly used in 2020–2022 Escape, Bronco Sport, and others.
I’m hoping to collect real-world...
USB C by design is agnostic to orientation (Even with the way comma uses it). We aren't interrupting any passthrough by losing the resistor, but losing the resistor orientation is what causes the reflections to return as the bus that needs to be corrected is no longer being corrected.
In less...
I didn't intend to place blame, just wanted to mention that the reflections don't usually cause the cable message. Your stuff is great outside of the bad batch you got, which isn't on you at all.
I appreciate that. It sound like the AC issue is going to be a thing for some of us. I can get you a breakout made if no one has any extras they are willing to part with, since the final version is still around 2 weeks away.
The bad cable message may be coming from the extra adapters in the...
Update on Final Adapter & Pre-Orders
A lot of people have asked to get on a pre-order list for the final version of the adapter. I appreciate the interest, but I won’t be accepting pre-orders until I’ve verified this batch meets my standards. I don’t want anyone’s money until I know the final...
It helps me keep my mind off wondering why it takes 6 days for them to ship these couplers lol. Not being able to finish a project because of someone else drives me nuts.
I want to bump this. This has been the best audio upgrade I've done to any of my trucks. I just now got back into tuning the DSP after getting distracted by open pilot. I will start my own thread for this, but mobridge and Fraser are the best.
I was going to test different power cable lengths...
That was actually the original thought for these. They are just small for that level of detail. I would have to buy the .2 nozzles to see if it is actually a feasible idea. I have managed to get some really fine details from my printers, but I kind of started thinking about how little these will...
On that same topic, what do ya'll think about this case design? Don't judge the print quality as its set for draft. But in terms of the coloring. The blue is intended to indicate the direction that should face the truck.
Open to notes. I was just thinking this allows an obvious indicator for...
I am working on a way to make it bi directional. But im honestly not putting a ton of time into it considering you're not going to be reinstalling it enough for it to realistically matter.
Edit: If you are thinking it only plugs in one way. That is not the case, the board is agnostic to 180...
You can, but it will lead to over-termination since you will be adding termination to buses that are already properly terminated. Its all outlined in previous posts here.
(B10/B11 also wouldn't do anything for reflections.)
