Well that's odd, it worked for @CdnCGM23 from Ontario. It may be because your current subscription expires in 2027. Most of us getting extended are only getting a year added to sometime in 2026.
If you go to Connected Services in the FP app, you should see, under BlueCruise, your expiration date (of whatever the current trial or paid subscription you're on now) and tapping the right arrow to see the details you should be offered the option to extend it. You may also see a "Buy" button...
Window sticker aside......when you first got your truck and you setup Fordpass...and then you went to your owner account and checked Connected Services....what did it say there?
And I am aware of the "Ford CoPilot Active 360 2.0" verbiage from my previous purchases of a '21 Powerboost F-150...
It won't autorenew.
A MME owner reported this morning that he received an email yesterday due to his 'trial' expiring in two weeks. He pressed the "Renew" button in the email and selected the 0$ option for his freebie year extension.
So he was given plenty of notification of expiration, and...
My window sticker makes no mention of the word BlueCruise anywhere on it. But I knew it came with it before I bought it...and I knew I was getting a 'trial' for three years.
For those wondering what it looks like on the server backend.....if you've taken the freebie extension, your list of subscriptions now shows two BlueCruise subscriptions...one is your paid subscription and the other one is the trial.
And I don't think anybody is going to get an email...
Also, from what's been reported on the MME site thread on this same topic it would appear that it applies to '22/'23 model MMEs that got a full three-year subscription at sale time, and possibly also '21 models that have maintained a continuous paid subscription up to this point (even though...
Take the win
I had the full price, monthly, and free, options on my Lightning offer in FP....but got just the one option of a 0$ year on my '23 model MME version of the same subscription. So I've now extended both for another year.
I'm a little unclear on something...did you just forget to go back out and put it back in Park and shut it off? Or was leaving it that way intentional after you did your testing? And what sort of testing were you doing that required leaving the truck in neutral? Dashcam stuff or?
I was browsing the FP app the other day and saw the 0$ option for a year and thought it might be a glitch. I did screenshot it at the time though and was going to post about it. But somebody beat me to it.
Anyway, I just now went through with it, and it seems to have worked.....even though I...
Eventually, all your asbuilt data is sent to the cloud, all modules. If the system throws a wobbly because you've colored outside the lines with the IPMA module it will show a GVMS warning in FDRS to note the there's an issue with the data. GVMS data warnings in FDRS, as stated in the program...
Well the BMS sensor is a part replacement. Takes 5 mins. And yes it will help with updates because it gives a more accurate state of charge reading to the BCM...which means the SOC will not be reading "low", which in turn tends to keep the logic from applying updates (like when it gets below 80%...
It's a software update to the IPMA and PSCM.
That's it.
But the IPMA part of the script never worked right from when the update was originally released (months ago) and in order to fix the problem, after you were returned to the available software menu with the update 'supposedly...
These are the OTA notes for that update on your '23 model.
This update enhances your vehicle's software performance, providing a smoother and more consistent connected experience.
ECG-24.2.5.7
My '22 model has a different revision of the gateway software than what you got via OTA.

GWM, APIM, TCU, and the IPC (with exceptions) are USB-based updates.
And all of them should be done before anything else in the list is attempted as a 'best practice' to avoid software dependencies from causing updates to fail.
I realize that shop service techs do not necessarily follow...
