Ford Parts Giant has the Mach-E version a lot cheaper than the Escape/Bronco versions.
The Escape and Bronco Sport versions are around $185 from there.
I guess the Ebay deal is the best one....but I've seen that even on the FPG site they list different revisions that have been superseded by...
Can we use the Mach-E shifter instead? I mean, I would think it would work but figured there must be some reason for going with the Escape/Bronco version.....
FDRS 43.6.10 is out this morning. The info page is still a work in progress though apparently.
Or maybe not? Actually? Not sure?
I guess somebody is rethinking the whole "Do I send out this update or not" thing....cause after I installed 43.6.10 the help screen reverted to showing 43.6.7 as...
I have had to wait in my truck for over an hour before at various times and found that the truck doesn't use much energy to keep the cabin comfy. I leave it fully ON and when the IPC shutdown message pops up I just dismiss it with the OK button.
I have also intentionally left my truck on to...
I didn't get a chance to post the followup to my 2 March powertrain and doors update due to issues with my account that started on the 3rd and were only resolved yesterday.
Here's how that went:
The powertrain script started at 2:39 when I selected the PCM and hit "Run". Right side column is...
Just saw this a few minutes ago. Did not show up when I took a drive this morning and hit the Software Updates menu item in Sync for some reason, even though it said the event triggered yesterday afternoon. I'll go out and see if I can get it to install now.
2 Mar 25 and there's a complete set of powertrain updates out for my '22 Lariat ER today. I was holding off updating the door modules that came out last week until something more substantive came along. I guess this is it. :)
I checked two '23 models and they don't have these updates.
I...
I’ll bet this is that same gateway update that came out about three months ago for many of us. We all had to disconnect the 12V battery to get it to work.
I want to re-emphasize though...if you do go with the NVMe drive in an enclosure...Windows sees that as a 'fixed' drive, not a USB drive.
USB drives are MBR partitioned by default, but 'fixed' drives are GPT partitioned and the vehicle won't recognize a GPT partitioned drive.
So make sure if...
I really don't know why they say to use the 64GB since the largest APIM update I've ever seen was 15GB...but if that's what current guidance says ?‍♂️
Sandisk changed their lineup sometime last year so the really fast USB drives (32 and 64GB) I bought years ago aren't available now. They're...
GWM, APIM, TCU, IPC first before updating anything else (all are USB-based updates).
Then PCM if it's in the list.
Cruise control related updates would be after powertrain, in this sequence if available; SCCM, CMR, IPMA/PSCM.
Everything else should be able to be done in whatever sequence you...
