  1. News: T3 full-size electric EV pickup being delayed until 2028

Ford tested this with EA, and it worked, but was never rolled out. Since most people don't DC fast charge every month, turning it on, then off, would be the most economical. And, how much of a premium would you pay Ford just to get Plug & Charge, vs. paying EA or Tesla directly? Turn it on...
  2. Size H3 starting battery replacements?

    Correct. 2022s and some 2023s.
  3. Journey down the Baja…to Cabo

Those are Clipper Creek chargers, they have nothing to do with Tesla.
  4. Size H3 starting battery replacements?

No 2024s were affected, only some 2023s.
  5. Service Vehicle Soon comes and goes.

A simple Google search would tell you that the OBD II port is down at the bottom of the dash. Bend down and look and you'll see it on the left, above where your left leg would be. No idea what would work for those 3 vehicles, you'll need to do some research.
  6. Why was Charger capacity reduced ?

DC fast charging is going to cost well into 6 figures.
  7. Why was Charger capacity reduced ?

I believe the answer is sure - after a huge expense in hardware, and then getting software updated. No way is a Ford dealer going to do this, but someone like @Martin Rebuilds might be able to give some ideas.
  8. Charging port door opened in car wash

It does NOT need to be dry. People charge in the rain all the time. The cover is to keep debris out.
  9. Why was Charger capacity reduced ?

Ford doesn't explain reasons for decontenting. In addition to the 2 listed by @Wattsgas, I'd add: - Many homes can't handle adding a 100amp circuit. - The cost of a 100amp circuit vs. a 60amp circuit is not insignificant.
  10. Charging port door opened in car wash

There is no reason to dry anything. Next time, put a piece of painter's tape on the door. AI posts should be banned for the incorrect information they provide.
  11. Charging While Driving Works w/ Gas Generator in Bed (Range Extending for F-150 Lightning)

Because 99.9% of Lightning owners are represented by the handful on this thread. Got it! As for commenting, 1) it's a forum, anyone can comment. 2) I said it was interesting for the generation back into the driving vehicle.
  12. Charging While Driving Works w/ Gas Generator in Bed (Range Extending for F-150 Lightning)

The CONCEPT of charging while driving is interesting. There is a camper made that generates power while being towed. That's one example. What's not interesting to 99.9% of the population is running a large gas/diesel generator to gain additional range. If you need that, then you can buy the...
  13. Size H3 starting battery replacements?

    The best price is RockAuto...
  14. Harvest Program 25H02

I believe the 4% of bad 2022 - 2023 modules did not result in a formal recall, or even CSP. Ford just reached out - or the truck had a failure, like mine.
  15. Harvest Program 25H02

Interesting that the Ford document never says the word Recall, yet the NHTSA site does. It will be very interesting to see if this leads to a widespread issue.
  16. Charging While Driving Works w/ Gas Generator in Bed (Range Extending for F-150 Lightning)

Might want to do some research before making that claim... https://www.[banned site]/threads/ford-files-patent-for-roof-mounted-backup-ev-battery.4060/ Put in the words [truck we own]Owners and the .com. https://fordauthority.com/2024/11/ford-patent-filed-for-range-extended-electric-vehicle/...
  17. Harvest Program 25H02

It is NOT a recall. Recalls are safety-related and mandated by NHTSA. It is a voluntary program. My 2022, as well as others here, had some modules fail and get replaced. My battery SOH, measured last week, after 16,000 miles and over 3 years from production (bought May 2023) is 100%. My...
  18. Front grill guard options?

    No, interferes with the sensors.
  19. Is this T3? August 11th "Model T moment" for Ford says Jim Farley

Nothing political about describing someone by their skin color.
